Inner Turmoil

You're an anxious perfectionist, constantly on the edge, second-guessing every decision, and wrestling with inner critics that just won't pipe down. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, and overwhelm is your unwanted sidekick, threatening to derail your life at every turn.

Making friends and maintaining relationships? Well, that's a whole other challenge.

Shame? It's like an uninvited guest at your mental party.

The choices you make? Often driven by fear rather than passion.

And those dreams and passions you hold dear? They're just out of reach, always obscured by a fear of failure.

As for self-talk, it's often a never-ending reel of self-criticism.

We've been there too. We can help you face your struggles so you can live life on your terms with confidence, compassion, and purpose.

You Are Not Flawed

Using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, we work with anxiety and perfectionism. IFS addresses anxiety and perfectionism by deeply exploring your inner world with compassion and curiosity. You’ll be encouraged to understand and interact with different "parts" of yourself, each representing various emotions, beliefs, and ways of protecting you.

For anxiety, IFS helps by identifying and engaging closely with anxious parts, allowing you to gain insight into the root causes of your anxiety and perfectionism. By fostering self-compassion and developing a positive relationship with these parts, IFS helps you develop a healthier relationship with yourself, reduce the intensity of your anxiety and perfectionism, and embrace imperfections more comfortably.

Love Every Part of You

In therapy, we’ll help you understand, accept, and transform the underlying parts of yourself that contribute to anxiety and perfectionism, ultimately fostering emotional healing and well-being. Through this approach you’ll have the opportunity to….

  • Become more attuned to emotional overwhelm signs before they get in the way

  • Cultivate a relationship with yourself that’s rooted in care and patience

  • Pursue your passions, even in the face of fear

  • Confidently approach friendships and relationships

  • Tackle shame with self-compassion

  • Restore trust in yourself and your ability to make good decisions

  • Create harmony and balance in your inner world
